Captains

1st Squad Captain: Yammamoto

The captain commander is super lazy. He is supposed to be like super strong yet he refuses to even release his bankai when they are having so much trouble with the espada and Aizen. Kyouraku's case is different because he was actually able to defeat the primera without using bankai. Yammamoto just sits there and watch the other shinigami fight when he can probably end the whole thing with one swoop of Ryuujin Jakka. I personally believe there should be another Captain Commander in the series. Like seriously he could at least take out Wonderweiss who vaizards Mashiro and Kensei are having trouble with. But, once again he didnt budge and Kensei was forced to use bankai which we have yet to see in action.

Second Squad Captain: Soi Fon

Soi Fon is pretty cool. The only problem is her weird obsession with Yorouichi. But, her abilities are amazing although I prefer her shikai over her bankai. Two hits and your dead? That rules. Her bankai is a little too much. Jakuho Raikoben is a strong attack but who wants to deal with the recoil of that? Plus the trouble you would have to go through to set up her bankai is a heavy load of work. Usually its just "Bankai!" *Explodes in power* Then boom ready to fight. And I believe her shunko is actually greater than Yorouichi's own. She has demonstrated great skill in controlling it.

Third Squad Captain: Vacant Former Captains: Gin and Shusuke Amagai.

Fourth Squad Captain: Unohana Retsu

Perfect Captain for the fourth squad. Her bankai heals people from swallowing them and she can heal through the use of kido which is the fourth squad's job. No complaints but a lot of shinigami seem to display fear for her at certain times. Maybe thats her eerieness or the fear of her abilities. I would love to see some zanpakutou or hand-to-hand combat from her.

Fifth Squad Captain: Vacant Former Captains: Aizen

Sixth Squad Captain: Byakuya Kuchiki

Amazing set of skills. Demonstrates incredible speed and use of his zanpakutou. Although I dont think his zanpakutou resembles his personality so much. Maybe the pedals represents how sharp his pride is. Who knows. And I love his Hakuteiken technique as well as the scene of massacre technique.

Seventh Squad Captain: Kommamura Sajin

Haven't really seen much from him. Every time hes in a scene he's either talking, getting hurt or activating his bankai which turns out not really helping.

Eighth Squad Captain: Kyouraku Shunsui

Awesome character. I absolutely love his swords release. Also, he demonstrates awesome swordsmanship with just the right balance of being laid back. No complaints here. But, if his shikai is so strong I pray to see his bankai abilities very very soon. Im sure im one of many though.

Ninth Squad Captain: Vacant Former Captains: Kaname Tousen

Tenth Squad Captain: Toshirou Hitsugaya

Pretty good. Although his zanpakutou puts him at a great disadvantage to fire types. Say hes flying then his wings melt away. He wouldnt be able to betray soul society because say Yammamoto actually does something he would be done for unless they for some reason decide not to kill him. But, other than that he's awesome. Go Hypirinmaru!!!

Eleventh Squad Captain: Zaraki Kenpachi

Amazing power displayed in particular and unique eye patch. xD Probably one of the strongest captains out there. I like his fights in particular because he has so much fun battling and he wouldn't back out for any reason. He would just keep getting excited and hit harder.

Twelfth Squad Captain: Mayuri Kurotsuchi

Probably the creepiest person in the Bleach series. Although I have to admit that I enjoy his theme. The whole scientist thing and past/ backstory. Also, his zanpakutou, Ashisogi-Jizo, is pretty cool rather ugly though..

Thirteenth Squad Captain: Jushiro Ukitake

Amazing swordsmanship as well as other skills. Sucks that he have that illness though. If it wasnt for his illness he would be pretty damn strong. His powers would exceed that of Yammamoto's. Come on..the power to reflect reiatsu based attacks. Sending all that fire from Ryuujin Jakka back at Yammamoto. Then again we haven't seen Mr. Lazy's bankai so we cant say for sure. But, im pretty sure Ukitake's is comparable to Yammamoto's.

one thing, unohana's healing companion isn't her bankai it's her shikai, which makes you wonder what kind of amazing bankai she is

Thats her shikai?? o.o Wow! Cant wait to see a few bankais. Mostly since Zaraki is the only captain to not have a bankai then that mean all captains in history had bankai. Cant wait to see Shinji's!!!

the thing you should be expecting from zaraki isnt bankai but shikai, he's pwoerful without it, with it, worlds would end, shunsui took out primera stark with shikai lol no need for bankai but you never know

Not yet he didnt. In the manga hes fighting Aizen and the other two. Hes bound to use it. Kensei already released his bankai we just yet to see what it can do.

actually about him, he's not lazy, it's just that, if you recall the ryoka arc when ichigo and company invaded, when hereleasedweverything within like a mile radius was reduced to ash with everyone in close proximity, the releases would reduce aizen to ask yes but also the entire gotei 13 as well

Yeah but if you think of it like this..all of them are supposed to protect plus soul and they are ready to die for that purpose. So if they all die in protecting pluses from Aizen destroying Karakura then itll be fine right?

i have seem the living zanpaktou, shinsui and matsumot's weapons are sexy as hell

xD Kazeshini's appearance fits his purpose though. Also, Rukias zanpakutou is supposedly beautiful as her zanpakutou. So I guess their alright too.

Yup, and thats why shes alright with me. I would enjoy seeing ryuujin Jakka though. It would of literally been hell to have to fight him. xD
